Meet Allison Gandlin: Our Inspiring Spring Model Embracing Modesty

Aja Cohen

We are so excited to introduce Allison Gandlin as the face of our Spring 2025 fashion shoot! Allison isn’t just a talented model — she’s an NFL Flag Football National Champion, an engineering student at Rutgers University, and now, a woman on her journey toward modest dressing as she reconnects with her Jewish roots. Her story is one of strength, determination, and discovering personal meaning — and we are honored to be part of her journey.

Allison’s Journey to Modesty

Growing up in the competitive world of sports, Allison was always surrounded by high-performance athletic wear. As she began to reconnect with her Jewish identity, she found herself craving clothing that allowed her to move freely while still honoring her personal choice to dress more modestly. That’s when Transcendent Active entered the picture.

“I wanted clothes that still fit my active lifestyle,” Allison shared. “Finding modest activewear that’s cute, comfortable, and functional felt impossible — until I found Transcendent Active. It was exactly what I needed as I started dressing more modestly.”

Why Transcendent Active is Perfect for Allison

Allison is always on the move — whether she’s on the football field, at the gym, or studying engineering at Rutgers University. That’s why we knew our modest activewear would fit seamlessly into her fast-paced life. During our spring photoshoot, Allison modeled pieces like our Mesh All Day Active Skirt, Recycled All Day Active Skirt, and Performance Quarter Sleeve Top — each designed to keep her cool, comfortable, and covered.

Here’s why Allison loved our activewear:

Balancing Modesty and Movement

One of the biggest challenges Allison faced when shifting to modest dressing was finding clothes that could keep up with her intense athletic lifestyle. As someone who still actively plays sports and stays fit, she was hesitant about making the switch — worried that dressing modestly might slow her down.

But once she discovered our modest running skirts and moisture-wicking tops, everything changed. She realized she could run, play sports, and stay active while fully covered.

“My biggest fear was that modest clothes would hold me back in sports or feel uncomfortable. Transcendent Active completely changed my mindset — I feel just as strong and capable in these clothes,” Allison said.

A Beautiful Reconnection to Her Jewish Roots

Beyond her impressive athletic career and academic accomplishments, Allison has also been on a deep personal journey to reconnect with her Jewish roots. Growing up in a less observant home, she’s now rediscovering her faith, embracing more modest dressing, and feeling a stronger sense of identity.

Through conversations about modesty, faith, and self-expression, Allison found that wearing modest activewear gave her a new sense of confidence. It wasn’t about hiding — it was about honoring herself.

Wearing modest activewear has made her feel more aligned with my values. It’s empowering to know that she can stay active and stylish while honoring her personal choice to dress modestly.

The Future of Modest Activewear

Allison’s story is exactly why we created Transcendent Active — to empower women from all backgrounds to move freely, live boldly, and feel confident in modest fashion. Her journey is a powerful reminder that modest dressing doesn’t mean compromising your lifestyle — it simply means finding clothes that work with your movement, not against it.

We can’t wait to share the full campaign with Allison — showcasing her strength, beauty, and commitment to living authentically. She’s a reminder that modest activewear is for every woman, whether you’re training for a marathon, playing sports, or simply living life on your own terms.
