Empowered activewear

Designed in New Jersey. Made in LA.

Athleisure that goes from gym to jet set. Made in America, made for your life.

Meet the founder

Hi, I'm Aja.

Pratt-trained. New Jersey raised. Ten years at Fila, Champion, Converse — designing performance gear for athletes.

But I couldn't find a single piece in my own closet that worked for the life I actually lived. Modest enough for school pickup. Technical enough for a morning run. Easy enough for a flight, the workday, the long walk home.

So I made it. Designed in New Jersey at my kitchen table. Sewn in LA by six pairs of hands I know by name. Small batches, made by women, for women. WBE (Women's Business Enterprise) certified. Featured in USA Today. And we're just getting started.

— Aja

Six pairs of hands

Every stitch in Los Angeles.

Small-batch. On purpose. Cut, sewn, and finished in a family-run workshop that's been doing it for decades. Slower. Costs more. Means fewer pieces at a time.

Which means the people sewing your skirt aren't a number on a spreadsheet half a world away. They're someone Aja calls on a Tuesday to ask how the new shipment turned out.

Independent. Woman-owned. Made in America. The labels matter — the work matters more

From bottle to body

What this fabric used to be.

Most of our activewear starts as recycled PET — the same clear plastic in a soda bottle. We work with mills that melt it, spin it, and crimp it into the soft technical fabric you actually wear.

  1. Plastic bottles
  2. Spun into fiber
  3. Knit into fabric
  4. Cut in LA, into your closet
  • 5 bottles per XL tee, on average
  • 33–53% less energy than virgin polyester

Recycled materials where we can. Smaller batches everywhere we can. Manufactured in the U.S. so we know who's making it — and what the water table looks like downstream.

Sustainable stamp of approval.

BLUESIGN traces every fabric we order for safer chemistry, lower water use, and verified worker safety at the mill. Each fiber is approved against more than 900 individual checks before it ships.

Built into the fabric

The good stuff isn't on top. It's in the thread.

We work with technical mills that weave function into the fiber itself — not sprayed on, not coated. Same fabric, wash after wash, year after year.

  • UV protection

Sun protection woven into the fiber, not sprayed on top. Built in at the mill on select pieces, check the product page for which ones.

  • Moisture-wicking

Pulls sweat away through long efforts. Stays dry on the run, in the studio, on the way to the next thing.

  • 4-way stretch

Moves how you move. Pattern-engineered for real bodies. Comes back to shape, wash after wash.

Recycled materials where we can. Technical fabric where it counts.

As seen in

In good company.
