Running with Purpose: Transcendent Active x Beatie Deutsch and Run4Amudim

Last week, I had the incredible honor of hosting a Transcendent Active pop-up at the Run4Amudim event on the Far Rockaway boardwalk, alongside none other than Israel's very own marathon star, Beatie Deutsch. Known as "Speedy Beatie," she’s not only a champion runner but also a champion for modesty and inspiration, proudly running in her signature Mesh All Day Active Skirt during competitions and training.

Who is Beatie Deutsch?

Beatie is an Israeli marathon runner who has defied expectations. As a mother of five, she began running in 2015 and quickly became a symbol of perseverance, faith, and modesty. She’s an Orthodox Jew who covers her elbows, knees, and hair while competing—and she’s fast! Beatie has won multiple marathons and half-marathons and has represented Israel on the international stage. Her dedication to running in a way that aligns with her values is one of the reasons she’s such an inspiration. She swears by the Mesh All Day Active Skirt for both its performance and modesty, making it her go-to for training and races alike.

Run4Amudim: Running with Heart

The event also spotlighted Run4Amudim, a cause-driven team raising funds and awareness for Amudim, a nonprofit organization that supports individuals and families facing crises such as addiction, abuse, and mental health challenges. Their work changes lives, offering counseling, resources, and hope to those in need.

Run4Amudim has been growing as a community of runners who combine fitness with philanthropy. They’ll be participating in the upcoming Miami Marathon, bringing their mission to the big stage with a team of passionate runners. It’s an amazing way to make every mile matter!

The Pop-Up and Collaboration

At our Transcendent Active pop-up, runners and supporters got to shop the latest pieces from our collaboration with Nice Jewish Runners, a community of like-minded athletes who value modesty, style, and performance. From running skirts to tops, this collab reflects a shared vision of empowering women to feel confident and comfortable while hitting their stride.

Seeing Beatie connect with fans and hearing her talk about her journey was beyond inspiring. She reminded us that modest running isn’t about limitations—it’s about empowerment. Feeling Inspired

The day ended with brunch at Just By Julie, where Beatie shared her story—how she balances motherhood, training, and representing Israel on the global stage. Her words left me energized and ready to tackle my own running goals, including training for my upcoming half marathon.
